I am a Research Associate and member of the OAK (Organisations, Information and Knowledge) Group within the Department of Computer Science at the University of Sheffield.
My primary research area is within the area of the semantic web and how it is possible to attribute information distributed across the Web with semantics, thereby allowing its interpretation and reuse by machines and automated processes. I wrote my thesis about the disambiguation of identity web references through automated means, covering topics such as machine learning, rules, graph-based methods, information extraction, information integration, linked data, the semantic web and the social web. For an up-to-date listing of my work, please refer to my publications page.
